Same summer tyre, same thread. Different performance? myth or truth?

Really tyres same from same company, same design, same thread, will have different performance?
Means will skid or wear out faster in our hot weather?

So Bridgestone got make special tyres for Singapore or for Asia?
Surely Asia like Japan or Taiwan got winters and cold weather....so the same tyres not suitable?
Myth or got some truth?

I find the scare tactics of this advert very lousy.
Compromised what safety?

Really don't think a same design same pattern SUMMER tyre from Bridgestone can have different performance.

Really LPPL to say own tyres can compromised sinkies safety if buy parallel tyres!!

Summers in different countries have different humidity and temperature fluctuations mah. One more thing is typical road conditions.

Who really believe the high performance tyre shown on the advert got different compound for different countries!
Ok we are talkif about summer high performance tyre...not winter or all seasons tyre!!

Bridgestone MUST convinced with how any different regions of tyres compound they make for the Same thread same model tyres to convince driver!

I agree there might be compound difference. But tyres company never public tell us what is the compound differences required for?
But how can Bridgestone says their summer tyre can compromised safety when using parallel imported tyres on Singapore cars?

Same same but different

There was a very popular example on the Goodyear F1 tyres, with diagrams showing the made-in-Germany F1 having more layers than the made-in-Thailand and made-in-China F1s, and general consensus is that the made-in-Germany tyre is quieter. Supposedly wear rate is also different because of the different compound used in different countries, but I do not remember if the made-in-Germany F1s are the superior ones in this aspect ... don't assume that it is.

This is not an example of PI vs local stock though, because as far as Goodyear is concerned there is local distributor stock that is made-in-Germany.

Michelin had a similar poster talking about how the compound used in their local stock tyres is formulated for use in tropical climate. There are folks in here who'd mentioned that the sidewall of made-in-Thailand local stock Michelins are stiffer than the PI made-in-EU ones.

P.S. made in EU doesn't automatically = AMDK = good. If it's made-in-Germany, they'll probably say made-in-Germany instead of made-in-EU, which normally means made in places like Bulgaria or Poland, or perhaps Spain. And this is actually the same as comparing made-in-Japan vs made in Thailand or China.

That's my point!
Last time the Car Dealers also say PI cars not acclimatized for Singapore market! All bullshiet.
For that past years all the PI imported japan made cars for Japan market also no probem in Singapore....Vezel..harrier..
All the PI imported Europe specs Porsche, BMW, Mercedes also driving well in Singapore.

These tyres dealers feeling the pinch...come out with this lousy excuses to scare people to buy authorised tyres is a big joke!
