yes it's the particular version which displays the message with formatting

the underlying actual message doesn't differ

Vol down + Power Button into fastboot mode and flashing the recovery. img with Adb command in DOS.

Applying the same method from the miui forum...still workable from 7.0.12 to the latest..

Somehow this phone stock ROM seems to eat up battery real fast....

Anyone having heating issues with this phone? It gets real hot and the battery cant really lasts for a full working day? If the phone gets heated up, the battery level drop very fast.

previously was using redmi note 3g and with the same usage pattern i could easily use for a full working day and have about 20% battery left. my redmi note 3g just died and hence got to use this note 2 which i bought as spare.

Screen on time is about 2 hours 30min and previous on note 3g i can yield 4 hours.

Anyone got the battery replaced? does it helps?
