U can try contacting Mr Azman. He teach class 3 manual at CDC. No: 97771800. Rate wise $30 outside, $60 circuit (1hr). He tends to leave circuit 15mins earlier so you could drive the test route. Great teacher for me though.

i heard from my instructor he fell sick (rumors were that he got a stroke) but not 100% sure since its all just hearsay

his students were like looking for a PDI to cover since they have already booked the tests at the coffeeshop few weeks ago

In terms of pricing its slightly hard to say. Coz u need to consider that private will have two different pricing (usual case and keeping it simple) one price is for outside road. Where u drive around in the public road. And the other price is for the circuit. Means u are able to enter the circuit inside the sch and do the different courses. For me i paid $30 for road and $60 for circuit. Why is there two prices u might ask? Coz as a private when you enter circuit, you so called need to pay "using the circuit fees" thus the two price. As far as sch is concern and keeping it simple (taking out the peak and non peak charges) it will have one price. But u do need to consider that this price you paid includes circuit. If i remember correctly (again sry for being forgetful) my friend paid 80++ for 90mins for lessons as student while i paid $60 for 1hr. This is comparing prices inclusive of circuit.

The benefits of private for circuit is that you can choose the timings where the CDC instructors go for break. so you have like 10-20 minutes where there are only private cars inside, no need to queue up. Now CDC has been freaking packed, one time I queued 10 minutes just to do one parallel parking. But if you try to go at timings where they are having breaks such as lunchtime, then you can do a lot of that times in that 10 minutes.

Private are cheaper coz firstly, the rates is cheaper if not the same as school and secondly u can choosevthe number of lessons u wish to have in private. Meaning u can limit yrself to 10 lessons if u wished so u dont pay extra (example only)

For comparison i took 17 lessons and it cost me close to $1k for everything while my friend who is in sch, took ard 24 or 26 lessons used close to $2k. I waited 3 months for my TP while my friend waited 2 weeks ~ 1 month for his.

I took private and spent 3k + .. it varies a lot and also dependent on luck and your skill. But now even for private, the most you need to wait for TP is around 1 month for CDC, they have changed the system. For other driving centers I even see people getting test slots within 1-2 weeks

Ubi PDI Recommended - Manual and Auto

Just passed my driving license manual at Ubi in less than 2 months (and I was oversea for more than 2 weeks). Was not easy to find a reliable PDI few months back, so there is the contact info of the one who taught me. He is good and quite flexible so it was easy to have driving lesson (even after work at 7 or 8pm).

Feel free to contact him (Ivan Tan) at +65 9667 6769. He is teaching manual and auto.

Name: Ivan Tan
Contact: +65 9667 6769

Good luck

Hi all. Have been diligently doing my research on recommended pdi for manual but this thread is just too too long 😅

I took 16 lessons with Mr Lee(some recommended him here) but decided to join sch but then earliest date I can book is mid July. So here I am, back to private.

Please please please advise on a good instructor. I don't need fetching and all. Just at woodlands area, teaching manual, don't scam money. Hahaha

NO fake reviews please. by the way, I called David phuan and his rates are so high!! Enrolment fee is alr 80. 1 hour $34 😯
