ANZ just called me to reinstate the card which was cancelled previously when they refused to waive off the annual fee. Annual fee already credited back to account. Now waiting for them to get back to me whether I can get back the optimum$ which was forfeited. If they don't return me the optimum$ I will cancel the card again, they have left a permanent scar on the customer relationship and there are better cards out there that I can use.

anz cso are among the worst I had encountered. the system is also very slow. I had waiver delayed which they slap on late fee. I called in, they reverse late fee but slap on another late fee. this recurrent late fees repeated three times before it finally ends.

but that said in terms of dining and groceries, optimum is a good one for me. I'm getting about 4.6-4.7% rebate on dining after rounding. I dun wan to be forced to spend using ocbc 365 or Citibank dividend, and I'm not sure if the 4 miles will continue for uob amex preferred. next two best are uob one 3.33% but that is useless once monthly quota hit and amex tcb but some merchents dun accept amex. do u have better cards to recommend?

as for groceries, I only live near ntuc and also uses redmart. I dun like smrt rebate that is limited to only a few merchents. so hopefully can apply 2nd optimum for groceries.

right now only in my 3rd mth of usage. I probably will redeem all and stop using in last 1-2 mths before annual fee kicks in.

I using cimb visa signature and boc family for dining.

i think the CSO who refused to waive the annual fee for Trazora jie jie must have kena a super duper big time scolding from the Manager :s13:

a few times i called and had trouble is a she who had the same accent. not sure if it is the same person or people from the same place. if it is only one cso like that, then maybe just the bank's luck.

when were you fellows charged the annual fee?

I was charged and then dialled in to waive.

You can ask for waiver via the phone prompts ... everything automated ... and then received an SMS a few days later that annual fee waived.

I dont see any annual fee in my last few months statement... Maybe next month

Why bother using this card?

Grocery is round down and they use the stupid points system which you can only redeem when you hit $50, use BOC family is better

Dinning is round down, besides the stupid point system its only 5%, BOC family 7%

Once they refuse to waive my fee, i immediately cancelled and never looked back.

Only saving grace for me is it can be used at hotel.

can throw away liao this card?

Still ok as a card that don't have minimum spending and covers niche areas like hotels. But must be wary of the annual fee. They have re-instated my cancelled card, but I still waiting to see if the optimum$ is reinstated also.
