My mistake for trusting the brand. I lost the warranty card did not know where i put it. Think i bought from vincent watches. My oversight. Nonetheless its still crap. They just cant make perpetual calendar watches. Simple watch like visodate maybe tissot still can do. But if they cant make perpetual calendars well, pls dont make substandard ones that cant make it then sell to the mkt.

Calendar complication in mechanical watches, whether its date, daydate, calendar and perpetual calendar, all require delicate handling especially when dealing with the turning of the watch crown.

Let's say today it's not tissot. It's Patek Philippe Annual calendar 5146 series. Costed you around 55k. After 3-4 yrs down the road... you felt something is wrong with the calendar complication.
you bought it down to PP service center to get it checked. The technican tell you need to service and change certain parts of the calendar complication and it will cost you 15 to 20k

PP went on to explain the costing to you etc

Now... would you go and cry father cry mother? And say that this is a 55k watch for god sake! How can it break down so easily and cost so much to service?

Moral of my theory:
Get a life. That's the possible maintenance cost for a mechanical watch. If there are people who can't accept the servicing cost, then I will HIGHLY recommend these people to go for G shock or the ever reliable $15 casio black "NS" watch

Just to add...
For my Seiko 5 watch Date function, if the movt die, and I wanna get it repaired with Seiko, it will cost me more than the money I paid for the watch.

For my Steinhart Ocean One date, it will cost me around 300 euro for movt servicing.

For my Tudor Day/date, the servicing for the movt can cost me between 800 to 2k sgd.
