Both using ETA as a base. Inhouse both have their inhouse. Proven inhouse more impt. U want reliable work horse or ...
Longines better value for $$.
Brand reputation no diff.

What else u like to compare. Compare brand name and company kinda nuts. Dating a Indian please compare Indian vs Malay. Lol

They both last just as long if u are working desk job. If u dive, sweat like mad, day time work construction on jackhammer, weekend golf.. Of u most of the time wear in war zone... Diff story

U need to compare specific watch.

Wah bro, 过讲了! Am only a small time enthusiast who loves vintage rolexes.. the history the stories and the value.

Your connotation of LKK 太好了!

When i hunt.. besides the watch being authentic, all the parts have to be "period correct".

Vintage is indeed a minefield, came across many "franken" pieces, which can blow a hole in your pocket!

Do your homework.. and you can be rewarded with a unique time piece which most people can only admire and talk about!

Am always happy to discuss and share my limited knowledge.. pm me your contact k, dont want to bore others here..

WoTD! Klassic Rolex 5513 m1st with tropical insert :)

vintage collecting is indeed 深学问. Thank You bro sleepyman for sharing! do let me research more! funds, sourcing, authenticating, etc are the many, many challenges. please continue sharing your carefully curated collection and pointers along the way! :s12:

That is subjective to user. I like diver watches because of their sturdy and rugged look. If you prefer something lighter on the wrist, go for dress watches.

the omega 2254.50 is only 11.5mm in height, slim enough to fit effortlessly under a shirt cuff - yet is a certified chronometer and diver rated at 300m depth with a helium escape value - and totally feels at home whether in a business suit or birthday suit. a solid winner in my books! :D
