hongkies were damn effing proud in the 80s and 90s cos their economy was booming, and their soft power in terms of cantopop and canto movies were at their zenith, similar to what's happening to prc. they faltered during the financial crisis of '98 and the good times truly ended when SARS hammered them jialat jialat. hk has not been the same since, especially after the handover where they being eclipsed by prc. service also improved post sars.

从社会角度来看，基本上新加坡与香港没什么差别。。。什么潮州人，客家人，海南人，福建人，广东/广西人。。。只是一种身份象征。沟通方面就一直顺应有史至今哪个籍贯的人较多，就流通什么语言。唱潮州大戏的已故陈楚惠一直都是以广东话沟通为主，只有到外地巡演的时候才会用潮州话与当地人沟通。新加坡其实潮州人不少，只是往往不容易认得出。。。一般上整个社会还是以福建话交流比较多，直到两人沟通之后才会转为用潮州话。

从香港论坛环境，到新加坡，再到香港论坛。。。反反复复来回不止在网上与不同人交流，也至少有些接触。香港论坛錶迷一般上来新加坡买錶都回通过私讯联络我，我也老实的回应他们，尤其是通常叫他们不要来本地买香港当地有的品牌，因为这里价格竞争力不够强。通常那些錶迷只是会从本地买只Sandoz回去。。。除了因为品牌标志不同之外，据了解，工质也有些微小差别。。。

与香港人交流，你必须要懂得如何应对他们的 串（酸） 文化，就如我们这里的“玩不玩得起”一样。。。REIZIKI师兄说得没错，现在的香港人的确跟老香港有些不同。以前的老香港，是“串”得你直，“串”得你没话说，他们的自傲就自然提高一个等级。现在的香港不得不向现实低头。。。不过虽然低头，嘴角还是显露微微“不言败”的。这也就印证了老吴其中一位香港客自己讲自己香港人的其中一项看法，就是港人比坡民更加怕输。。。

在我们这里是，“無幹袜大漢！”
他们那边却是，“無串唔發達！”

yes, very true ... their service improve the most after SARS, even andy lau oso come out and tell them to improve customer service this one is emphasize by my hongkee customers .. they say andy come out talk liao .. must improve ..hahahaha

The teochews there sibei powerful cos of 新義安 not like me .. bor lak teochew .. only ang ang bor hai lang .. ang ang si hor lang
