I had been playing racing game - Drift girls (from Google play Japan) and FF Brave Exvius lately.
The racing game will naturally heat up the phone faster but my Z5P stays around 42 - 42.5c.
But it is still acceptable for me Nice.. i'm playing FF also but mine hovers around 55c(with some peaks at ard 60c) due to my modBut it is still acceptable for me

At the expense of not being waterproof. Don't think any telcos is bringing in X Performance.Downloaded Cpu Temperature app and checked this morning, left pokemon go on for around 5-10 mins. temperature reading was ~63/64 degrees. others have the same mileage? will check the temperature again when the overheating notification appears next time.
p.s. friend's xperia X handles pokemon go like a champ, remains cool and buttery smooth

That is the CPU temperature readings.
Idle phone readings could normally be 40+c.
Playing games readings could normally be 50 - 60c.
Your phone CPU is getting a bit warmer than normal phones, which can typically handle readings up to 70c.
Try saying overheating when the CPU hits over 70c.
. I know. That's why I mentioned nobody bringing in XP ma.X is not certified waterproof but XP is waterproof.
Yup it's now at 40 deg at idle. I'll check it again after intense pokemon catching session.
just wondering if it is higher than what other z5 users are facing
