eh oppo launcher is it miui too?
or miui is solely for xiaomi phones?

Miui can be used on supported android devices but natively on xiaomi phones.

Oppo's launcher is Color OS(an Android ROM actually, that's based on Android).

Yes. There's radio. Not sure if it uses data or not, but I think need to use headphones to activate it

Why do u need apps drawer.. I find it is useless.. IPhone/ios dun have also

One thing I notice is that though the screen is massive, in terms of content displayable, it is about the same as my Nexus 6P. Everything is just bigger on the Mi Max. Has anyone tried changing the DPI to fit more content onscreen?

Actually, if you find it similar as your 6P, doesn't that mean it is already displaying more?

Note that your 6P has a 1440 x 2560 screen, the MM has a 1080 x 1920 screen.
