Just hooted one from Lazada with the discount code :D intending to use it as a spare phone/tablet and leave my iPhone alone when at home..as well as making use my free Starhub 1GB mobile data :D hope it is good as all mentioned here.

I have been trying to by this phone from SmartCell via Lazada since last week, but all my 6 orders had been rejected by Lazada for failing card verification. I had tried to use 3 different credit/debit cards from Stanchart and HSBC and all cards are in working order i.e. I have been using them frequently for online and offline purchases.

Any idea why? Note that I was routed to Lazada through Shopback, and my Lazada account is newly created so this is the 1st order. I also tried using the stanchart $30 off voucher code which failed. Then I changed to ONTRACK30 today and it also failed card verification after Lazada gave the order confirmation email.

Pls advise. Thanks!

same here, got it to use as a phablet at home to read mags and stream shows!

though Sony ultra z is 6.44" display too, it makes mi max look compact with good screen ratio

that I am not sure, you might want to check with LAZADA or your banks to see what's causing the issues. So far, for my LAZADa purchases, I opt for cash on delivery.

I tried using Android tablet or win10 tablet for reading. They can be tiring to use for long time. They are designed for be held with 2 hands because they are big and relatively heavy. I have to put them down to do something then pick them up again.

With the Mi Max I can still hold it comfortably with one hand after I add on the rubber band behind. It sticks safely to one hand and I am still free to use the other hand to get a snack or a drink without much effort. It gives me that effortless freedom and comfortable size of text for reading with less strains on my eyes.

Is personal info for the credit enter correctly?
Like name, first name, last name must follow…
Last time order from US website, was rejected many times for the name…

US is very strict about name on card!

Kena rejected to pay by my HSBC credit card in Wallmart coz the printed name on card is different from my NRIC! The cashier insisted! :vijayadmin:

No choice but to use another card that has the same name as on my NRIC....nothing less, nothing more! :s13:

yes get the black one! i have one of those rings but in the design of a watermelon, figured it was too ugly so i ripped it out, gonna order one more soon.
