Sometimes it happens on mine too. Same, 32gb, Global Rom. I noticed this issue since MIUI 7. But the frozen ball is just a moment, like 5sec, right?

I brought the 16gb version as I want to replace my glichty Xperia Z3 for 3 months when I am ready to recontract in Dec. I find that the 16gb is very zippy, but too bad only gold color. Maybe I give it to my wife and get a 32gb silver one. Anyway gal don't really care about spec as long they can Facebook, we chat and whatapp. The unit arrived with empty battery. China rom with Google play installed. Initial impressive was brilliant at this price range. Only cost me $201 plus shipping. The spec and quality blown me away.

Maybe I should get a silver one and contract to Sim only prepaid pain. Who needs a better phone when mi max is so capable at this price point.

I using china miui 8 stable rom, but dont encounter the poke ball froze thingy. Can elaborate further? Froze after u throw to the pokemon? If yes, i kena that many times, mainly due to my network.

Mine don't always. Only when network is a bit sucky. These few days very often, maybe due to server congestion. It looks common to me though, even my sis sgs n4 also same.
