http://www1.singtel.com/personal/phones-plans/mobile/vas/DataX3/detail1.html

Just sharing what i came across when browsing the add-ons for my own mobile plan, looks like singtel is making this available on top of what data x2 is offering.

Basically, all the rules apply from data x2, the subscription is now $9.90 for x3 instead.

I sure will whack this when i recontract on combo 2 CIS, (3GB free x3 = 9GB).. :D:D:D

yes you can.

sauce - FAQ.

Q. Can I cancel my DataX2 and sign up DataX3 add-on without re-contracting my mobile line? Will I be charged a recovery fee?
A. Yes, you can. There will be no recovery fee in this case.

The ks for clarifying! That means, the user just gotta top up a little for x3! :D

this is definitely a useful VAS for subscribers. But i do really think Singtel should open this up to ALL existing customers. Existing customers are important too.

I think it's because they wanna entice people to recontract. I agree if let's say they allow people with more than 1 year of remaining contract to take up data x3, we will be much happier..

Actually shouldn't be a problem as the datax3 is tied to its own term contract. So there is nothing much to lose since it will force you to recontract your main line as you are still stuck with the datax3 contract which expires later than your main contract.

While they can earn from excess data usage, they won't open to allow existing customers to enjoy the perks.

DataX2 is just giving you 2x2 + 1 (CIS benefit) = 5GB.
DataX3 should then give only 3x2 + 1 = 7GB at maximum.
Yes. This is the right way to calculate.

All extras due to whatever promotion is not "multiplied"

Only the base is extended. But still good enough.
