All please check when recording video. Might think it won't affect you if sound is soft. But if you are recording and you can hear the sound in the video. It's a big issue. I dont know how to attach video. But i did and it was audiable and loud.

oo. i tried to hear when taking video.
i tot it was normal, like all other video in the past also have similar sound?

anw, i dun really bother much ba, i dun really take video.

Only a small handful of iphones have this issue. Others can't hear thru videos. Sigh, unlucky i guess. Even during call if the other party is in a rather quiet enviroment the annoying noise can be heard thru the phone. Unless using earpiece. My phone also auto shutdown, bluetooth not working. QCD run a test and was also surprise lol. Even screen had issues.

I actually suspect is 256gb's issue for 7plus. Maybe 7 might have. I'm no it expert but i suspect maybe the phone can't hold 256gb hence it's like that. Even when i close of all application and a imessage come in. The sound is audiable. But of course if u in noisy enviroment can't hear. Fingers press behind my phone can feel movements. Less than a day old from singtel... This issue happened.

So lucky!!! The amount of trouble i had to go thru with apple and singtel... Btw yours is a singtel set or apple set?
I check the manufacturing date of my phone it is 4/9/2016. Those imei checker website. So maybe might be a batch issue.

Apple set.
For 128GB 7+, 256GB 7 Singtel sets also no significant hissing/coilwhine.

Does Singtel offer 1-1 or?

Yea hence perhaps it's a batch issue.... I guess apple store phone have lesser issues than singtel. They only can exchange a replacement phone for you. But i am expeditating this issue. So we will see how...

One from apple store and one from starhub. Starhub one received a few weeks back already. Direct from store is the jet black which was bought last week.

one hissing issue considered many issues? i don't think so. it's like bendgate all over again. in the end, everyone lived with it and it was forgotten. don't let it ruin your experience, guys. perhaps wait a few more months and see if new owners still have the same prob. if don't have then can go change. if have, no point trying your luck to get a perfect, hiss-less phone.

I also worried now for my incoming Jet Black 128gb Plus.

Thing that i would test upon unboxing.

1. Go safari page check for dead pixel image using those color image.
2. Go run octane to test got hissing anot.
3. Test Camera and recording video.
4. Playback video.
5. Check whole body got any weird manufacturing.
6. Check phone call.
7. Battery doubt can check it early as it is related to ios 10.02.
8. Check the new home button.

Anyway how to check for creaking or clicking sound?

How to do soft reset on 7 plus?

Can the above test be completed within 2 hours or more?

Then i go down paste sp and casing.

I will still have S7 Edge on hand. Hope no need to deal with Apple hotline or A Lab.

If from Singtel cannot directly deal with Apple hotline? 14 days does not apply?

well, apple will REPAIR for you or they will give you a replacement set.
do note serial number will be different, can tell if it is replacement or brand new set by serial number starting with N or M.

So it's a big trouble, will mentally make you go crazy lol. everyone have brand new set, yet they send you a faulty phone and they make it your fault lollllll. by right, should allow 1 to 1 exchange within 7 days. QCD or A.LAB will take your 'new' phone away and then give you replacement lor. i wish i could upload the video of all the issues my new 7+ have. i think i strike toto also never so 'heng'

Haha. I also have this hissgate mah.

Like I have mentioned, it can be heard on video or calls (when in silent place).

So for me, i dun really bother n continue use lo.

i think the video making static or clicking sound everybody has it... when i read macrumors forum... even the replacement has it... must live with it..
sometimes different level other really loud...

i tried recording video when i connect to headset... i dont hear the clicking chirping sound... i tried to listen to back of my phone while recording i dont hear any sound coming from the body.... i think its maybe the mic ...

N is new or M is new?

I think Apple will do full 1-1 retail box replacement. Not sure about Singtel/ALab/QCD. Anyone with experiences?
