Previously I was asking for help here on building my first rig and followed the suggestion to use a Qoo10 coupon combo to buy some of my parts. However, all was well until I opened the box to my motherboard.

Someone already opened it before :s11:

The sticker seal on the conductive bag has been unpeeled and stuck back onto the same side of the bag. The motherboard has also been taken out of the bag and slot back in upside down; thus obvious markings from the pins on the bottom of the mobo can be seem on the top side of the bag now.

Anyone with a similar experience can share what to do next? Suck thumb and use?

The seller is a rather reputable shop from SLS and I already contacted him. But not getting my hopes high.

Dun worry bro. It's normal. Most likely the distro that imports the mobo needs to open up the package and stick their warranty stickers on the board. Same goes for gpus.

If only open, usually not an issue. But if there are signs of bend pin, corrosion or other wear and tear then you can complain.

Hopefully. :s13:

That or it is a "nice shop" that accepts returns from customers

The motherboard which I bought directly from Convergent came in packaging which has been opened before, therefore no worries as this is normal.

msi b150 m3

Msi from corbell. Got their big sticker on the box right. And at the back of the mobo got a small pale blue sticker that reads 'warranty void if tampered'. The distro stuck it there.
No stickers then u have problem; dunno where the shop get stock come from.

Yep, no worries as long as it is our stock.
