USB-C to LAN Adapter for Mac

Does have anyone have any USB-C to LAN adapter to recommend? Prefer to have something that is supported straight out of macOS Sierra (i.e. no need for driver install).

I saw this at Challenger: http://www.valore.sg/Valore/project/valore-usb-c-to-lan-adaptor-vuh-06/

Ask the sales guy, he said no need to install anything, but I'm somehow not convinced... he seemed to have a very disinterested attitude.

The one sold by Apple themselves (Belkin branded) won't be available any time soon.

Ehh the one I showed you comes in thunderbolt port which is better than USB-C and cross compatible too. Good thing it's made by Apple and plug and play.

I don't see why it should be better. But the more important thing is that the older Thunderbolt version would require an additional dongle to use.

(To be clear, I'm looking at using with the newer MacBook Pros that only have USB-C ports.)

Just get any USB-A to USB-C adapter and your existing LAN adapter will work fine. That's what I'm doing with my peripherals.

These adapters are readily available in Qoo10 or SLS. They are so cheap and small that I've a few of these, and throw them everywhere. I've them at the office, home, bag etc.. You never know when someone will pass you their thumb drive to transfer file.

Yes, I will get the USB-A to USB-C adapters too.

About thumb drives. No, I refuse to use anyone else's thumb drives. :)

All the USB ports work but the Ethernet port doesn't. Did not bother to exchange of ask for refund.

I haven't ordered the multi-port as I don't need them yet. It's expensive now because it's not a 'norm' yet, so I have no intention to get now.

Anyway my MBP is not yet shipped, still processing, so get the USB-C to USB will suffice for now
