Yes, provided you don't change the category from now till 26 Dec, the category for jan to mar 2017 will follow your current category. Remember to select category for apr to jun 2017 before 26 mar 2017, if not then no 5% for apr to jun 2017.

Basically I spent $20 exactly at an F&B outlet but I wasn't awarded the $1 rebate. Called up to complain, and she said because I didn't choose a category in Sept, they selected "no category" as the "default" category. That's why I didn't get the $1.

Yah, it's part of the rule that has never changed.

1) select category for first quarter when apply card
2) 2nd quarter follow same category selection unless another category is selected in the first quarter
3) Must select category for 3rd quarter onwards, if not then at most 1% rebate

Rewards Points/Optimum$/Cash Rebate will be credited to the relevant ANZ Credit Card account by 31 March 2017.

Does it work for overseas dining? Can someone verity it works reliably (gets rebates) when dining at restaurants overseas?

Yeah, I ignore that promotion. My ANZ optimum card stays in the drawer for next 6 months as I use my CIMB card for the $25 a month promotion.

Hi, my card is ending soon and not sure if can waive annual fee.

Anyone has had any success or failure in waiving the fee?

I managed to get it waived recently. The CSO even called again to assure me.
