Are there anyone with experience with any of these instructors (class 3)?

1. Kae Wen Fatt (is he switching to auto?)
2. Chua Im Hua
3. Ong Chee Chye
4. Chua Ah Huat
5. Chiang Fui Long

I'm looking for a patient teacher, disregarding the pass rates. I've messaged Azman (did not reply), Tan Kim Seong (3A only) and Ng Chin Heng (replied once, MIA). Any advice? Prefer BBDC or SSDC!

I am a student under Chua Im Hua. He's Chinese speaking, pretty patient and knows his stuff for circuit. However I failed my first TP last week because there were safety checks on the road I really didnt know because he did not emphasize. But you can learn all of that by reading tips online i guess. I think he is fully booked until February onwards.

When did you last took lessons from him and how many lessons have you taken under him? I read through the thread of reviews and lots of positive reviews about this instructor.
I'm actually quite keen on contacting him to teach my son.

I took about 5 lessons with him in total and to this day I am really surprised with how many positive reviews there are about him online.
1. He always ask me to park somewhere claiming he need to go toilet and after 10min, he comes back with food and coffee.
2. Unclear with his instructions, from what I know normally when driving and the instructor does not say anything, u r supposed to go straight but when I did so, I was scolded for not remembering the route and missing the turn while he is busy calling /texting his other students to schedule lessons.
3. Very impatient, my first time going into circuit, obviously I'm unsure of what to do but instead of guiding me he just kept saying words such as "u very blur", "ur driving no good",
Not trying to be mean or anything but the only way there are so many positive reviews about him online is he is posting those reviews himself as seen by the number of posts the account have are mostly only 1 or 2 post. However this is only my guess and there is no concrete evidence. However if u do decide to learn from him pls share with us ur experiences.

hi guys i recently passed my tp for class 3a, first try with 8 demerit points. and i think my pdi not bad.
anyway i took around 17-18 lessons including circuits and warm up and more of it was 1.5hr which my pdi charge at $51 (if he feeling good or lesson end early then maybe $50 lol)
he only teaches around ubi which is good cuz all the test routes are there anyway. if you live near him and happen to be his first or last lesson of the day he will do pick up and drop off but is within the 1.5hr.
can pm me for contact details:)

Anyone here has any experience with this ssdc class 3 pdi by the name of Mr Wong, hp: 903561**?

Can't seem to find any review of him in this thread or anywhere on the web... Pls share if u have engaged him before for lessons!

Also, what is the market rate for 1 hour usage the of school circuit? I called a couple of ssdc pdi and the quotes I got from them is quite random ranging from 22, 26 to 37 for 1 hour of circuit usage!?

Looking for a 3A PDI for my daughter.

Pick-up in Pasir Ris if possible; test to be in Ubi.

Please PM recommendations.

My own experience with a fanstastic PDI was back in '94.

The guy'a name was Mr Neo, with a Beng haircut - the car was a manual Nissan Sunny or Pulsar.

Really patient and calm...communicated in basic English only but that was sufficient enough for me to pass on my first try (2 demerits) and after 13 lessons only.

The only reason for the minimal number of lessons was probably because he would quite often take the weekend off to go to overseas (casinos or something - trying to recall) AND that I was really comfortable driving.

Wonder if he's still around...

Hey there! Thanks for responding :) Yeah, I asked and he said earliest is Feb. I found another instructor and am starting my first lesson tomorrow. Will let you guys know if it turns out to be well after some lessons!

edit: found an entirely different PDI not from my list previously as all of them did not get back to me except Mr Chua
