more interested to know if his has config changes from the default. What i have been hearing is the ones who change their config tend to have a longer delivery, but i might be wrong

Based on my past encounters, Apple tends to take a longer time to prep BTO Mac.

The new 15 inch MBP 256GB base model is OOS at 'almost' all the resellers; few of them didn't answer calls when I checked with them today.

With the new notebook so thin, I wonder if the keyboard cover will end up leaving marks on the screen. This used to be a problem even on the older MacBook Pro.
Not an issue for me as I have a RadTech ScreenSavr for my macs, I just place them between the screen and keyboard.

I have been doing so since my iBook G4 > PowerBook G4 > MBP 15" > MBP 13".

And now going back to 15" again :s13: :s13:

When did yours change?
Was Ubering over the weekend so didn't check until yesterday, so it's PFS.

As of this morning it's S already, target reach date, 1st Dec. Will be a hectic weekend configuring and setting up all my required software.

Congrats to those who have your new incoming MBP.

I just received 15 inch from the retailer today.

The new 15 inch has a smaller footprint compared to the previous model and I'm still adapting to the new size, new keyboard and touch bar :s12:

The Touch ID is convenient; performing just like the iPhone.

Not sure if it is due to the new display, the system fonts look slightly smaller.

There were few occasions when my fingers came into contact with the touch bar and activate the soft keys while typing. And I miss the Expose key.

Use hot corners, I do expose via the corners, it's faster to shift my mouse to the corners then press the button.
