I saw another user's v20. Volte selected but no icon appeared on status bar. Same location, my v20 displayed volte on status bar. Strange.

Previously I have no problem using VoLTE in both area.

@lgmw33. Strange indeed, I wonder if there is any hidden menu to manually activate this?

Using Samsung EVO 64GB for my V20. Also using the same brand model for my Xiaomi Note 3 too. Personally I prefer Samsung card than Sandisk. Had bad experiences with Sandisk.

I was a Samsung 'tard too, but gave up when they started the iPhone train by NOT having expansion slot.....last Sammy was an S4 or S5, can't recall now. Jumped on an LG G Pro 2, then a Sony Xperia Z5 Premium to the V20. Still have the G Pro 2 and XZ5 Premium.

BTW, anyone tried the Sandisk 200GB card on the V20? My friend has it in his V10 and he reports zero issue, so I'm thinking of getting it as I'm somewhat of a movie and audio buff (HiRes audio like DSD) so I gotta have max storage. Don't wanna try 256GB card as I'm not sure of 100% compatibility/stability.....and cost too much. The 200GB Sandisk card has dropped substantially since its launch.

BTW, the V20 has acquit itself quite admirably as a sort of DAP, can even handle headphones like the ATH-R70x and T50RP (pic below)

Previously I've used the remax 128gb sdcard on my note7 and transfered it to my lgv20, had problems with old pictures "greying" out meaninv the sdcard is corrupted. Didn't want to waste time checking since I was flying to japan the next day, went and bought Kingston 128gb and so far no problem till now.

Bought at challenger since got discount and member's price because ahbeng shop want to chop carrot me.

Oh btw after using this phone since launchdate, I can inform those new users that,

Battery life starts out pretty bad at first but nowadays can last more than 10hrs and sometimes I use mine till the next day and then finally fast charge.

No lag so far, works well like a samsung phone. Some share menu do lag slightly that's what I notice, but not too slow.

Camera, rear camera got wide angle which is fun and better for taking videos and pictures,switch on HDR permanently and take photo with 4:3 16mp and you will get crispy nice pictures. The front facing camera tho works well with wide angle mode rather than the normal angle and works best with lighted places.

Thats pretty much it. Hopefully LG can fix the front facing camera issue and make it better..

I asked earlier in the thread the steps to activate.. no one answer me.. I thought all know and I was supposed to google for it.

Mine is old sim card that I cut it out into nano myself... will update when I get my sim card changed.

as per my long experience with LG since G3 until V20, although their UX is better than samsung, but one bad thing that had never improved is the launcher loading that always happened while switching pages...

so i seldom use the LG UX, and i am using the smart launcher to replace it.

I just came back from JUrong Point....waa the queue at SingTel is terrible...

I asked the CSO there about the VoLTE and he says it network dependent
Says SingTel has been doing trial at Jurong East Central region and so 4G phone should be able to recieve VoLTE .... hahahaha... sorry I dunno why I'm laughing at what I type
