Hi all,

As our engineers continue working to resolve our fibre broadband outage issues, we advise affected customers who are also Singtel postpaid mobile subscribers to use their Singtel mobile broadband in the meantime. We will waive their Singtel mobile data charges for today. We apologise for the disruption and thank you once again for your patience.

1. You guys better uphold your promise to waive mobile charges.

2. How do you compensate those who are NOT using Singtel Mobile?

Every user has a free mobile BB sim card with free 500 Mbps data, now they say waive for 1 day so u can use it now. Even M1 also standby a mobile BB sim card for such emergency.

Is that free BB sim consider as postpaid or prepaid ? They only say waive for postpaid.

What about other family member that are unable to use Singtel fibre? How is Singtel planning to compensate them?

Now every user though! Recontracted to fiber this June during PC show they never offer the 500mb data sim card. I guess for these users they will just have to use their phone data. I think Singtel will waive all mobile data charges for today on postpaid and 500mb sim bah...

You work for a company A for years with Saturday/Sunday REST Days. Within a year u might fall unwell and took MC for one or two day to recover. Your company will not ask you better recover half day and return to work the second half day. A internet thingy work through out 365days, just 1 day he took MC and ppl.............:s13:

I think you totally miss the point. Singtel is a profit seeking business and greedy as hell.. the consumers are still paying for it even when their service is down.. btw I am not a Singtel user.

What type of mindset one has if he/she expect everything to work without breaking down.

Even power line got failure too. Not often but not uncommon.

If this dragged more than a day, even being tolerant as I am I would make noise too.

It's Saturday. Time to use the time on internet to do things with your loved ones. Real activities

Yes all postpaid and 500mb sim are waived. For those who recontracted, they will use back the original sim card issued to them earlier when they first time sign up with ST. ST is doing this in case your mobile is not under ST. Same for M1.

This time look like quite serious as it is more than 4 hours down.

I think this problem is not that easy.. network was working fine just now but now its down. Seems like its time to use mobile data le hahaha but its okay luh at least it is waived off. I am fine with occasional hiccups as long as we are not charged anything extra. Really don't get why some people say they are switching telcos just because of a disruption 😂😂😂

yes. Singtel is a profit driven company. As usual, which company isn't ? Be it mobile or internet plan, all of it's plans are the most expensive. And in term of quality, it is neither here or there.

Singtel will still remain profit driven. CEO has to answer to Board of Director if profit is not there.
