I'm under Ong at Ubi (manual grey Vios). He's pretty okay, quite naggy but at least he's on time, teaches alright and doesn't fall asleep during lesson (he pays attention to your driving). He does speak a little softly though.

The only thing is now I have booked my TP and he's charging me $350 inclusive of insurance and rental. Is this a fair price? From what I have gathered so far, shouldn't be more than $250 leh...

Hi how many lessons have u taken from him? My experiences with him has been pretty bad to the extent that I feel that he is creating fake accounts to create good reputation.. and I don't understand why so many people have been recommending him.

Well to be honest I think all the PDIs in a certain area colluded and raised prices. My friend's TP test was $250 inclusive of warm-up, insurance and rental just last year.

It is highly likely the PDIs just wanna chop carrot head since they don't provide proof of the insurance costs. Rental is up to them to decide so that should be the only variable. I realise there is no choice for us since it's suicidal to look for another instructor's car to rent for the test.

Thats exactly what I thought so too but oh well not going to point any fingers. Just hope that other students under Ivan Tan can share their experience with him. I cant be the only one that find him totally impatient and rude right??

hi yoloboii, i wasn't asked to sit through a colourblind test when i signed up. maybe better for you to self-declare, just in case?
