i went to google but found a lot of reports with superficial details.
I am more interested in the auditor's role with these companies.
I thought the auditors, especially those reputable ones, would go and check if cash stated are in the bank?

China Fibrechem - auditors sounded off warnings in their opinion
China Paper - auditors give a clean opinion but the next year, it was gone. Google only reveal that it had a fire and records were burnt... can't find any other details.

Read reports of China Hongxing Sports... I can't find any annual reports but it appear to be another case where non-insiders has no chance to react.

I mean, what is up with cash holdings? Can't auditors check the banks?

I think it is better to ask questions than to stereotype companies from certain countries all together. The latter will be too easy.

i believe in the auditors of our country however i am curious about the process in which they check these assets. Cash assets are the least subjective of all assets isn't it?
