After an 4 hour charge to full, finally get to turn in today. It's a global rom. The packaging was unsealed, so I guess Simder trading probably did the flashing. Update to latest global now..

How to do backdrop data/phone numbers etc, from xiaomi 4mi phone and restore to xiaomi mi max phone???
Please assist; just bought a xiaomi mi max phone, need to backup current xiaomi 4mi phone to transfer all data to new xiaomi mi max phone.

Is the Xiaomi unlock site down? I wanted to apply for permission to unlock so that I can flash a custom rom for my Xiaomi Mi Max. Anyone has the same issue?

I really cannot understand the logic coz with my previous Windows 10 pc , the MiFlash (official) just works! :s11:

What? MIUI8 can be installed in PC? Or an emulator within win10?

I'd really just call them and say I didn't receive the item, just to prove a point. I'd ask them who signed off on the item since it's door to door delivery.

For the 64/128gb, are those limited to CN ROM, or are the Global or xiaomi.eu ROMs usable as well?

This is not strictly related to Mi Max. But I'm encountering it on my Mi Max, hence I'm asking here.

Anyone use Microsoft OneNote on their Mi Max? I can't get the OneNote Badge to work. Nothing happens when I tap on the icon. I'm using Mi Max 64gb with Global Stable ROM (8.1.6.0).

Advice please...

I'm on Redmi Note 3. Not using badges on OneNote. The app itself so works fine, however I've to sign in using a Live account first before adding Office 365 account.

64/128 are China rom only from most sellers. It can be flashed to global rom or TWRP to eu rom without any problem at all.

Unless the sellers are good enough to flash them for you before deliver the set to you or they help you to flash to Global rom (in most cases) in their shop. :)

I don't think the seller will unlock the bootloader and TWRP to eu rom for any buyers.

However, if I'm not wrong, there is either 64 or 128 destined for India which is running the official global rom out of the box. :)

So, it is very much depends on which country's stock the sellers have in their hands at the point of sale.
