64/128 are China rom only from most sellers. It can be flashed to global rom or TWRP to eu rom without any problem at all.

Unless the sellers are good enough to flash them for you before deliver the set to you or they help you to flash to Global rom (in most cases) in their shop. :)

I don't think the seller will unlock the bootloader and TWRP to eu rom for any buyers.

However, if I'm not wrong, there is either 64 or 128 destined for India which is running the official global rom out of the box. :)

So, it is very much depends on which country's stock the sellers have in their hands at the point of sale.

Some are actually imported from Hong Kong, which is also Global rom out of box.

Anybody bought from aliexpress? Any issues encountered?

The price (~$390) from some sellers on aliexpress for the 128Gb variant seems reasonable though not as cheap as what someone on this thread had bought from lazada.

Finger feeling really itchy now. Hahaha.

Finally manage to have 2 SIM and SDcard at the same time.

The device protruding out is thin enough to fit on a soft case. but i doubt will work on a hard case.

No need burn SIM card or super glue, just the device and a double sided tape

Thanks to one of our dear friend here and managed to got this yesterday. Tested it and did a short video review.

Just click bah since the price is considered quite good now already.

Drop also drop not much and not so soon bah. It could be 6 months later just likes the 3/32. You don't wanna wait until 6 months, right?

Just do it. Enjoy the 4GB of massive ram which has massive advantage over the normal 3GB of ram and massive 128GB of insane storage that you have no fear in transferring massive amount of media contents as early as possible now. Don't bother about that few dollars of difference la dey...

Be a Starboy... :) Quick quick click to buy now and show us your proud purchase screen print here :)

Me very lonely high up here... Hahaha.

Just saw 2 negative reviews for Newstar on Qoo10. 1 says he received a set that had the sides opened up, the other one self pick up but didn't check properly and ended up with a suspected recycled set.

WARNING TO ALL BUYERS: You are buying export sets, so my suggestion is to do a self pickup and check thoroughly before you leave the shops! Anything after that, you're on your own. Not sure if the lemon law will be able to protect such purchases, and the hassle to kick start it may land a lot of users in the disappointment pool.

The best is opt for self-collection whenever is possible so that you can check the set right on the spot in the shop and can exchange a new set right on the spot with the shop people! :s22:

Personally, I did self collect a set from them, and before I unsealed the box, I made them to promise that if the set is not perfect, I could ask for another new set! It should be no problem at all for all buyers!

They do provide 1 month free shop warranty though..!

True , now I am helping one guy to revive his set , looks like the seller put his mi account and locked it with find mi , so when we flash the rom on boot it asks for the password of the sellers mi account . this is not good why would the seller lock the device with his cloud account and sell ?
