Update: sad news on my gilt turtle. They mentioned that the gear inside the watch is broken and needed to be replaced. I've sent in to repair already. Anyone knows how much does a repair like this usually cost?

Skywatches?

If you broke it, then ya, you should pay. I really don't know how they charge. Maybe you can ask, and see if the price is reasonable enough for you, if not can always go elsewhere.

If it was already broken, I would not pay.

But did you turn the date at a timing when it was changing over? That's often the cause..

They mentioned that i broke it because they always check them before sending out. He then mentioned it might be the later cause (me mishandling it without knowing)

And no it isn't covered by warranty. Based on what I recall warrenty is for the movement only.

i say, definitely fapping. :D

did something similar (*NOT* fapping!) last year when they had the "clock 10,000 steps per day to claim ntuc vouchers" program. found it more convenient to grab the free pedometer watch by its straps and flick it back and forth for about 20 mins to lock in the 10,000 steps for max points before the day ended. :s13:
