hi guys i recently passed my tp for class 3a, first try with 8 demerit points. and i think my pdi not bad.
anyway i took around 17-18 lessons including circuits and warm up and more of it was 1.5hr which my pdi charge at $51 (if he feeling good or lesson end early then maybe $50 lol)
he only teaches around ubi which is good cuz all the test routes are there anyway. if you live near him and happen to be his first or last lesson of the day he will do pick up and drop off but is within the 1.5hr.
can pm me for contact details:)

hi can you pm me his number?? thank u!

Hi Bro!! It's unfortunate that u don't speak mandarin... From what I can see while waiting for my instructor to come, I usually wait outside the Honda centre, I think that most of the instructors are old Chinese except for a few( or rather I feel?) anyways I would suggest u to ask around ur friends for their instructor last time if they have alr passed rather than searching blindly online. I feel ur pain looking for a good instructor:( All the best in finding a good pdi!

Congratulations to you!!

I would love to contact ur PDI, Frankie, unfortunately, i dont speak mandarin...

Anyway, I called another PDI earlier, Mr Lim Pien Hong.. coz i read quite good reviews about him here... but i guess he's packed or he cant converse in English well... so he recommended me to call Mr Ng (968xxx21)... tried to google search him but unable to match the number to those Mr Ngs... lol....

whyyy izzit so difficult to get a PDI........ can cry....... :s13:

Hey, I need recommendation for a good and patient PDI for auto at CDC pls....

I totally agree with you that Ivan Tan is so horrible...! Not just difficult to set a lesson, he doesn't impart you anything useful until 5 minutes before my TP test. How to remember stuffs at the last minute? He often ask you to give him dates in advance for him to record on his diary. Even though he sms you to confirm, on the said date itself, he can cancel your slot and give to others. He is very double standard. He claims no fetch nor send service. However, he used my lesson time of 15 minutes to go and send his foreign students to Tai Seng avenue and let you wait. He doesn't allow you to change your bookings with him, yet he can change yours claiming attending his brother's birthday etc. Then if others cancel his bookings, he insist you fill up the gap. If you simply say no you can't make it, he will reply you in such a sarcastic manner...! Nearing your TP test date, he can sabotage you by saying no dates for your practice! Hence, a warning to you all out there, engage Ivan Tan at your own risk!

Please give me a good contact for good and patient PDI....

Hi bro, i have pmed u the contact number of my pdi, Mr Frankie. I feel ur pain with learning from Ivan tan bro... I have suffered so much under him as well! Here's something to ease ur sorrows lol, ur not the only one who kenna his horrible service. U should find this extremely common since it seems u learnt from him all the way till ur tp test.. I got so many more evidence of him being even more unprofessional and sarcastic.. (photo edited as i dont want him tracking me down)

saw this thread while actually googling my instructor's name out of curiosity..

i just passed my tp first attempt thanks to the help of my very awesome instructor, uncle Gordon at CDC. Drives a manual silver nissan sunny but think he changing car to the new manual almera soon.. charges 32/hr and only charge 220 for car rental and insurance for tp excluding warmup lessons.. super nice and friendly uncle, provides many insights and pinpoints my weaknesses and bad habits due to illegal driving experience in malaysia :s22: fixes them and gives enough lessons to be familiar with what we're supposed to do for the test.. he's quite chatty or can be quiet depending on how u prefer (always talk nonsense with him while driving cos boring ma) and very respectful of time.. always reaches the coffee house just beside cdc 3 mins before ur lesson starts but always has to take a pee before starting (people old liao..). But because he is very good, usually his schedule very busy so have to book him arnd 2 months beforehand so he can schedule ur slots.. and he schedules ur lessons in a very systematic way. although he might be flipping through his diary and answering texts from students while u're driving, he never fails to guide u through where you're going and somehow manages to pay attention to what you're doing.. he is also fluent in both english and mandarin so no worries about that.. many more good points about him, one of the best if not best instructor that's around.. really grateful i could pass in 1 attempt. :s22: can pm me for his number.

Hello!! Could you kindly PM me Gordon's contact please? Thanks so much! =)

Looking for BBDC 3A instructor

Hi, new here.

Saw some good reviews of Mr Lim Soon Sim somewhere far into this thread, but could not find his contact number. Would appreciate if someone could pm me his number, thanks! :)

Also looking for any other recommendations. Preferably the kind that will not scold as I tend to panic when scolded (not very good if I'm at the wheel...)

Thanks guys!
