Anyone else mate 9 get heat up by fast?
Compare to my 3year old Samsung note3 ,my 2 day old mAte 9 get heat up much fast and more warm than note 3 is it normal?

While rooting my mate9, it suddenly went to soft brick. Can someone tell me how to recover this? I try to google, most of them not work for me.

Now my mate9 only able to boot into TWRP recovery.

You started off in your first paragraph with something like a "negative" approach.

But then your next paragraph, you speak highly with praise on Mate 9.
So much so it has somehow prompted and induced me to go for it.

For a $800+ phone, I think Mate 9 is unbeatable. Most other flagship phones will probably be selling close to $1k. I will get it myself if not for the fact that I prefer ultra wide angle cameras like LG G5 or V20, so much so that I am happy to trade off for poor battery life, which I can make do by frequent charging. Wide angle camera cannot be workaround.

I will get it myself if not for the fact that I prefer ultra wide angle cameras like LG G5 or V20, so much so that I am happy to trade off for poor battery life, which I can make do by frequent charging. Wide angle camera cannot be workaround.

This Mate 9 dual camera features are adequate to my needs.
Hence I am more or less quite close in making the decision to secure one for myself.

Did u unlock your bootloader before this?

But once your bootloader is unlocked, there goes your warranty.

It heat up faster but also dissipate heat faster.

As long as the heat is not trap there, it's ok.

yes already unlocked. now is looking to recover back. found many firmware, all not working so far when trying to recover using TWRP.

Once u plug in, the phone will boot into the menu to access factory reset or flashing firmware
I forget what is the plug call liao
