Friends and family bought three Chuwi devices for christmas (under my recommendation...

)
Every single one had some rather major fault in one way or another within 60 days... One refused to charge anymore, two got their screens scratched from the keyboard (since the screen pushes into the (official!) keyboard), Windows randomly stopped loading on one of them and on the other Android keeps crashing. Only tried the HDMI output on one of them, but... it didn't work (using a mini (or micro?) hdmi to hdmi adapter + hdmi cable (which has worked with other computers), the device didn't recognise any other display).
I'd stay away from Chuwi devices. I thought that they would be somewhat "premium but cheaper 'cuz China", but nope. Until quality control goes way up, wait a bit more. Now the screen and battery life was nice, and computing performance was O-K, and the device looked really good and certainly felt premium. But none of that matters if they break down.
