May I know why u prefer Taiwan ROM to the pre installed global ROM?

Me don't have PC to flash.

I read the reviews for SmartCell..Seems like they give grey though the 2 buyers ordered black.

Yup I got grey as well. BTW don't buy their tempered glass, cos the redmi note 4 one don't fit the 4x. The top cutout is different.

I dunno why I use global rom too... But seems 'safer' than a modified China rom.

Then I think i wait for xiaomi sg to sell the hp officially. Cos I no PC to flash. Can't OTA is like stuck with the old OS forever since can't receive software updates.

Just so you guys know, global rom battery life is not as good as the stock china ROM, plus the themes on china stable ROM are much better. So unless you really need global ROM, stick with china ROM as it has its advantage also. On china rom, you can still choose English and majority of the stuffs are in english. Delete those useless chinese apps that you dont need and should be golden.
BTW, OTA is also available for china stable rom just like global except its faster. Xiaomi release the China rom first before releasing global

I'm getting close to 11 hours SOT using latest china stable rom while only 9 hrs on global

I want to ask whether my global ROM preinstalled by the shop is it a official ROM?
If not, if I flash myself would all data be wipe out?is there a link to teach how to do this?

Not official.
Official rom only have 4 variables. 8.x.x.x.

i got problem flashing, which file should i select from the ROM folder to flash as i tried a few files from the downlowded file but there are error

have u tried downloading the update into your pc and update from there?
