7820HK is a mobile chip right? Can't really compare to a desktop chip.
The desktop 7700 definitely better. And you can't find that in a laptop...

7820HK has lower speed and is a 45W chip. 7700K has higher speed and is a 91W chip.

If you are not going to move the laptop a inch out of anywhere, just get the one with 7700K.

i7-7820HK has 0.1GHz higher clock. You can get that.

Aftershock is just rebranding clevo odm chassis.

And yes, there are clevo chassis that support socketed desktop cpus. Iirc even MSI also if that matters.

Its not like a mobile chip is totally not comparable to a desktop version. It uses the same 4C8T +GT2 (Intel HD) chip in a different packaging form, frequency and tdp.

That's before considering the same speed will cost more in a mobile chassis.

ya just checked it, the cpu is really i7 7700"K" anyway, TS can grab this i7 7700K. all hands down for it.
