Processing had about a month to get used to it. So should be faster now. I think they were working on internal criteria etc also.

Some banks getting aggressive. Got a big Citi ad at AMK mrt and the SMS invites starting to come in. I read somewhere in this thread that BOC even has a roadshow kiosk.

Just got home, checked mailbox, nothing from Hsbc, sigh, stuck and can't apply others even if I want to...

Few years ago, no firm rules on CC limit like now, banks excited to give, people also excited to sign up. Start spending, then realize, after paying CC, not enough left for daily spending. Spend more and more using the CC, and only service minimum sum, until eventually pile up to a crazy figure.

Typical story? Maybe that's my story. Older and wiser, need to settle the problem and not let it hang around my neck like an albatross.

If u are married got kids and is sole bread winner and dont have a good wife and also got temptation like stocks, gambling etc etc
and need to pay all bills and got car etc etc
