New <射雕英雄传>.. 黄蓉 super chio

The powerful skills all are quite poorly design. 18 dragon supposed to be very powerful one but this version makes it seems quite lousy. The 2008 version one is better. Maybe they no budget.



Actually that's the way she should be. Cute, playful, clever, witty. Ariel portray it quite well. The other that portray Huang Rong quite well is the old Athena Chu and Julian Cheung version.

Mu Nianci should be calm and cool with a more mature personality.



ya lar..not as chio as the 2017 version but the script and production are done better than the 2017 version. In fact, Mu Nianci is more chio in the 2017 version than the 2008 version. This version more like got more chio bu but the actors and actresses looks quite young. Even Ying Gu is so young when she should be about the same age or close to same age as Lao Wang Tong. Then again the 2017 opening theme sibei artistic. Like it. Keeps on repeating it on my PC.

Yinggu should only be late 30s leh. After all, she used to be concubine so her standard is there leh.... she has old hair because she was in grief over emperor huan refused to save her illegitimate son.

The actors and actresses are all young in this show. Maybe to save budget.. The supporting cast and the sceneries are very well done but the directing is kinda disappointing. But i disagree about HR description. She is supposed to be the chioest gal as described in LOCH novel, not just cute and playful. That's why it's so hard to find a chio actress who can portray all her attributes.

As for this YXW, i was kinda disappointed by his acting but surprisingly he did well when HR was dying. His acting skills are pretty good. Ditto for CXX when MNC jumped off the cliff.

Good Plot? Ughhh 2008 version worst is the plot. Especially the YK plot deviate until jialat jialat.

But other aspects are ok.

Agree, on the 楊康 plot 已經是離經叛道。

胡歌 just don't cut IT for 郭靖， the 憨厚愚鈍 really come across as 造作， but what makes me switch off completely from the show is AL castinh of 黃蓉， first she lack the what 金庸 depict 黃蓉 to be, first in decorum (首次以女裝登場時，書中描述「黃蓉長髮披肩，全身白衣，頭束金帶，白雪一映更是燦然生光，猶如仙女一般，肌膚勝雪，容貌嬌美無匹，容色絕麗，豔如春花，麗若朝霞)

黃蓉曾唱過一首辛棄疾的《瑞鶴仙》，據推測用以形容黃蓉之美。

節錄瑞鶴仙前段：「雁霜寒透幕。正護月雲輕，嫩冰猶薄。溪奩照梳掠，想含香弄粉，豔妝難學。玉肌瘦弱。更重重、龍綃襯著，倚東風，一笑嫣然，轉盼萬花羞落。」

林依晨 just dont cut it, her decorum just dont befit, next will be her portrayal of 黃蓉 character, she just dont come across as a learned woman from a learned background.

Sje appeared boorish with some of her small action and micro expression. She lacks the 閉月羞花之貌 和 沉魚落雁之美， 少了懷春羞澀之情， 卻充斥傲慢專橫無理之儀。

Except 翁美玲 (有時也屬過於刁蠻， 朱茵 and 周迅will be more rounded， 李一桐 befits in the looks dept, and her verson will be 可圈可點， 剛好到位。

Prior to this version 射雕英雄傳 ，my list of choice actress for the role of 黃蓉 in such a order 翁美玲， 周迅， 朱茵。

But after this 射雕英雄傳 2017 the choice list change and updated as 李一桐， 翁美玲， 周迅， 朱茵。

Hanor. Anyway, everybody got their preferred version of LOCH. Personally, preferred the 83 and 08 (less YK plot).

2017 one is to watch ATB only so no expectation for it. Then again, not a fan of LYT too. Still prefer MCF, MNC and 7th teacher.

Those who read the novel will know. Most ppl thought HR appearance is to look cute regardless of looks but in fact, Jin Yong has described HR as exceptionally beautiful with smooth fair complexion, long shiny black hair to the waist, delicate, elegant and graceful with a tinge of girlish giggle, playfulness and a superb captivating smile. Almost all men who first saw HR were captivated by her, including her adversaries. She is well learned, talented, refined and cultured. Her martial arts moves were described to be extremely graceful and the actress must have some dancing background to portray that.

I simply cannot see that in Ariel's HR. I thought she was a nasty spitfire chilli-padi who kept cursing and swearing.

The only two bad points i will point out is that LYT's portrayal lack the 灵气 and the "meanness". HR could be really mean at times especially when jealous or when she didn't see something 顺眼. I rate LYT near to Barbara's portrayal. LYT actually bothered to read the novel to get an understanding of the real HR, and didn't watch how previous actresses acted.

As for GJ, Felix wang's portrayal is still unbeatable. That blank, dull, silly but honest expression is so memorable. Not even julian comes close.

The scenery and the chiobu actresses are the plus points to this drama. Thumbs up!

I find LYT's HR is like a breathe of fresh air, much like a lot of the beautiful sceneric in this show. Watch her retort Yideng's 4th disciple, that's how to scold people with class lol. In terms of being mean, she's not expressively mean but she done a bunch of mean stuff.

I also agree that this GJ moved me with how he acted with the dying HR, he was really immersed in the sorrow and despair. MNC scene of her defiance and jumping down the cliff was also very emotional, though we know she didn't die, else no YG.

yah agree man. Lyt is chio but lack the 灵气 Barbara had.

Felix's protray of GJ is the best. Really bring out the naive and 忠厚老實 feel. Most of the actors just try to make GJ look like a retard lol.

I thought Felix will be the perfect choice for the middle-aged GJ when he was acting as Qiao Feng too.

Actually the 1983 version also deviate quite a lot from the novel, but nobody really complains haha.
