lol db is correct on that info. mi store only exist in lazada, all other platform u buying from are export sets (but lazada also have seller selling export sets as well, just make sure u go to mi store to select that product u getting.)

anyway their so call warranty are shop warranty. any issues their just help u send back for repairs. (which could take weeks~months to come back to you.)

so between prices and support (pick your poison)

Those with the redmi 4a, do you experience this? I charge the phone to around 80% at around 11PM, then I turn the phone off. Next morning at around 6am, I turn the phone on, it runs down to around 77-78%. Is this normal? However if put on standby, it can stay at 80% for a long time. More than 10 hours. How come standby discharges less than when it is turned off?

Anyone notice that even though we set the default keyboard to SwiftKey, the Google keyboard keeps setting itself as the default keyboard from time to time.

How to get rid of this issue ah?

Cannot total uninstall. It is a system app. At most can only uninstall until the factory app and not remove totally.

understand this 4a come with a hybrid slot. if my micro sim is slot into the phone will it detect 3G ?

Both Slot 1 and Slot 2 can detect 4G or 3G.

But only one slot can support that at a time, and the other slot will be limited to 2G.

Yes this is one good choice for the typical old folk who may just need the phone to call/sms and doesn't need the powerful cpu in other high-end phones.

As an added plus it can also be an introduction to the world of touchscreen phones that eventually can get the older folk used to.

anyone has this problem? The headhone indicator keeps coming on in the status bar. This causes the proximity sensor to not work. When making phone calls, the screen doesn't go off, and my face will come into contact with it and activate certain functions.
