Need help for new Rig

Would like recommendations on parts for a new rig build, mainly use for gaming, and probably coding on visual studio.

Have already bought gtx 1070 via qoo10.

Planned to use monitor: Crossover 27' 1440p 144Hz (buying it from another user) or otherwise Asus 1080p 144Hz monitor. Also going to dual screen with another monitor (lousier one) for web surfing while gaming on the main screen.

Also going to reuse my old SATA HDD, but is there anything I need to check for compatibility issue? I can confirm its working still.

Remaining budget: around $1000 for rest of the parts. No need for any aesthetics. Prefer to have 16gb ram and 250g SSD. No need wifi adapter and OS.

nope. Only CPU parts without GPU and HDD.
