Well rgb is 8bit, so I guess the hisense doesn't have 10bit colour and thus doesn't really do HDR10.

G1103 is already update for HDR means your should be a new stock. Its a 8bit panel but nevertheless the price is worth imo! Going to buy after i got my bonus this month!

Bro do note that the TV is 8bit colour so u might not get the most bang cuz ur Pro does HDR10 which is best matched with 10bit colour and wide colour gamut.

Lower resolution? Resolution is the same, 4k. Anyway just sharing. In the end it's your money your decision :) If you want to save money, u should consider display set with 3 year warranty. Samsung's and LG's 2016 panels can be gotten at $799 display set with 3 year OEM warranty. IMHO that's a better deal that $799 Hisense with 1 year warranty by Audio House.

Anyway, Samsung already announced their new HDR10+, so by the time you get your PS4 Pro, maybe time to upgrade again :s22:

But since u paid liao, have fun and enjoy your TV!

I spent weeks looking around for 43x800d but no stock, in the end bought a display set, was told 1 year warranty, but registered online was given 3 years. Paid $849. Before that I almost gave up and bought a Samsung UA40KU6300K display set cuz it had 3 year warranty, for $799.

Given a choice between $849 Sony 43x800d display set 3 year warranty vs Samsung UA40KU6300K display set 3 yr warranty $749 vs Hisense 50" 1 year warranty, which would you pick? I went Sony, because the 43x800d is a superior panel and despite being a display set, 3 years warranty gives some peace of mind.

Hmm, not sure how to describe, but it sounds really flat and narrow. Even with the preset Movie mode and Sonic boost.
If you use it to watch TV drama, still ok, wait till u try it out with movies or playing YouTube music, your ears will bleed..

Agree sound is not fantastic. I bought the 55 FHD, cos I don't have any 4K software. Happy user, good for most usage. For FTA program, sound is ok. For movies, I always connect through my home theater system, so no issue there.

Agreed. Hisense speakers are just decent only.

For the price I feel its okay.

Important is the screen which I feel is quite value for money.

The inbuild "smartos" is pretty abysmal.
Very laggy and will hang.

If buy is purely for the screen.

Using the 49" one

So you got that new version of the firmware out of the box without updating?

I got the 55" model a few month back and still stuck in very old firmware version without hdmi HDR and the built in updater shows no update available.

not sure the old version
but my 1 the box written HDR.
so i tested with my original PS4, it is HDR supported

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1vGe8uInnxKTslk3iKHw-VUeAHBU9p2xEGw

btw... my laptop only support 30pHz in 4k... i feel lagg :s22:
now with qoo10 100$ coupon.. u can save more... or visit audio house with extra coupon (i not sure if can direct offset)
