Hi all, can't find much review on Viewsonic VX3209, anyone using it? $499 for a QHD IPS 31.x inch monitor seems like a steal.

I own it and no regret getting it. :) Very nice black (off course can't compare with VA panel), very minimal IPS glow issue, I can said nearly don't have.

Good for gaming even though it mentioned 8ms GTG but it performed better than my previous 4ms GTG BenQ 24" AMVA+ 1080p (EW2440ZH) monitor probably due to it max respond time is 10ms compare with BenQ maximum respond time of 20ms.

Very awesome for video playback and I find 1440p just right resolution for 32". 2160p (4K) never my preferable resolution until Windows can do all apps scale in proper. Without scaling 4K resolution is not design for human eye even on 40" monitor.

Here some photos of the monitor. :)

32" 1440p start appearing in market recently. Before I buy I am hesitate probably will be too big but now I find it actually just nice for every usage. :)

Beware on ViewSonic "Fantastic service!" and I have VIEWSONIC VX3209-2K I want to point out ViewSonic monitor design got BIG FLAW where ants can go inside! and also their bad after sell service.

It happen twice already and second ants is fully stuck inside the screen!

Ants or any insert is not cover under warranty and they charging RM 360.40 for cleaning up the screen! The monitor original price in Malaysia is RM 1,299.00 and the cleaning up is cost RM 360.40, extremely ridiculous expensive!

This is my 1st and last ViewSonic monitor!

Beware and re-consider if you plan to buy ViewSonic monitor in future.

try try vacuum cleaner + tapping?
https://discussions.apple.com/message/28247945?start=30&tstart=0
There is a small air gap between the glass and LCD panel to protect the LCD from people pressing on the glass. That's where the bug was.

With a good vacuum cleaner sucking through the vents at the base of the screen and some light repetitive tapping on the back and front of the screen, the tiny mite slowly fell down below the black screen surround. He's now either sucked out or hidden by the black strip, so that's good enough for me! Took about 5 minutes
We blocked most of the vents along the base of the screen, and placed a powerful vacuum cleaner at the remaining open vent beneath the insect.
After about 5 minutes of repeated and vigourous tapping, it gradually fell down and then out of sight.
I'm not sure that the vacuum cleaner had much effect.

I am reasonably happy with mine. Don't think there's any other option for a 32" 1440p monitor at this price (I paid $499 before Lazada rebate). There is some ghosting in spite of the stated response time but I don't game much so I can live with that. A dead pixel also recently appeared but I can't do anything about that I guess.
