I am a beginner in photographer. Currently, I am looking for portable and traveling usage. I heard that FujiFilm produce better image with X trans sensor.
I am looking for sony A6000 alternative.... in Fujifilm category...? Any recommendation?

Just go for Fuji XT20 or Olympus E-M10 II

Yup, A6000 would be your best bet if you shoot casually. The 35/1.8 OSS is a great lens to travel with. If you must buy Fuji, I'd say the X-T20 is a good pick. I lile the Fuji for its colour and the unprocessed jpeg files, but the size often makes me think twice whether I should throw it in my bag when I head out. Fuji lenses are also a little more expensive, so do keep that in mind.

Sony A6000 quite affordable for it price..XT20 is like 2-3 times the price of A6000.. Heard that video quality for Sony is good .. fujifilm video still unstable.. Fujifilm had better color than Sony..

Isit true..Normally body cheap will need expensive lenses and expensive body does well with cheap lenses

Not necessarily, I personally find that canon rebels perform better with the cheaper ef-s lenses versus the ef L lenses. On the other hand, while you can pull more than decent images from a expensive camera and cheap lens combination, why not spend a little more and get more of what you paid for for the camera body?

In regard to sony, I've only used their a6000 and 6300, which I find works well with either cheap or expensive lenses (the expensive lenses make the setup too unbalanced and unwieldy though). I still like the cheap ones more, can throw around abit and if break at least it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to replace.

Haven't tried fuji, but I do agree that for the price, you might as well go all in and get some nice lenses to go with the camera...

Hahaha another Fuji interest!

Well to be honest if you like better video and lower budget, Sony is a better direction but the post-process is very sian and why… honestly the Mirrorless A series has a messed up white balance but arr if you don’t mind the red red leaning colours then it is ok.

If Video is not a concern, I recommended the XE2S. Is an older generation camera but the 16MP is very good for day to day usage.

If you want something better T20 is better as the video capabilities are level up but price wise is another department.

Rumours are XE3 will be out but that is end of the year and not sure will have 4k Video because until now 4K is not present in the Xpro 2 series.

Fuji has this thing called film simulations which you can choose colour profile for JPEG only.

any comments on the wifi transfer between xt20 and iPhones? Does work smoothly and fast? With social media nowadays, it's the primary mode of photo sharing. Will be a bummer if the integration is poor.
