I wouldn't consider importing yet. Need to see how reliable the cooling system is first. Plus xbox hardware always more prone to failure compared to other brand consoles.

Liquid cooled, even smaller form factor than Xbox One S, native 4K at 60fps (vs Sony fake checkerboard 4k), 22 exclusive games announced just on 1 E3... impressive.

Damn cheap $699 SGD nia for local set. US price is 500USD. Usually importing console from the US is cheaper even after including GST. This time it's $500x1.44 (bank conversion) x 1.07 (GST) = $765.

$699 use those $100 coupon shld be able to get it at $599 =D
you are right. i thought with all the red tapes this one will launch @900SGD :s13:
http://www.xbox.com/en-SG/xbox-one-x

quite a good pricing for 4k60fps. if only they up the CPU.

actually i feel there is quite a bit of problem for current generation consoles:
- pushing 4k, need 4k TV and can't really preview it from youtube
- VR is a PC thing and no where any consoles can handle the high fps that it demands without a proper CPU
- long load times due to high res texture
- Yearly refreshing from 3rd parties (COD, Assassin's Creed, NBA)
- Architecture too closed to PC, no way to match PC

- Can. Use 4K monitor/tv to preview on Youtube. Youtube has 4k mode mah.
- VR is not mainstream.
- Not a console issue. Load time depends on the drive and modern console can be equipped with PC equivalent speed SSD. If your PC uses slow mechanical drive, its also gonna be slow mah. :s13:
- Yearly refresh is a norm thing since the 1990s. Just look at Fifa...NBA :s13:

tomorrow we shall see what Sony can come out with :s13:

considering they were incredibly lucky for the last few E3 with Microsoft screwing themselves over.

Got a feeling wont have too many surprise announcement. Please dont waste time talk abt games that we already know (God of War... Last of us 2..Spiderman / Announced multiplatform games such as AC : origins, Anthem) :s13::s13:

xbox one x seems great and all but they always lose to ps4 game exclusive.

xbox exclusive game doesn't seems interesting..and they further crippled it when you can get to play it on pc.

i have pc and ps4 using the same monitor. only use ps4 for exclusives like last of us, infamous, horizon, uncharted

i mean why would ppl get xbox when they can play it on pc? :s22::s22:

So, NEW titles announced as exclusives:
- another Ori game (will come to pc for sure)
- nothing else (black desert, player unknown already already big on pc liao, not really new titles)

NEW titles as "console launch exclusive" (guess that means time exclusive, could be just a few days ahead or a year, whatever):
- Ashen
- Deep Rock Galactic
- maybe some other indies that I missed

That's all ah, Microsoft?

Xbox One X is great in specs, if someone doesn't own any console, probably a good buy (to play what exclusive?)... or maybe not considering the games on the competitors side. For someone who already own xbox one, questionable whether to upgrade or maybe buy ps4 pro instead to enjoy a wide variety of games they couldn't play before. For someone on the ps4 side, not very attractive either. (I have ps4, do I buy ps4 pro or x1x? I can count the games I want to play on x1 with 2 fingers but I have 50 games that will look better on ps4 pro.)

Of cos, if got money can buy all consoles, got big ass 4k tv want the best quality on multi-platform games (and what exclusives?), then sure just buy. (Got spare cash anything goes, no need deep analysis, only hurdle is maybe CFO if any.) Otherwise still no new compelling reason to go x1x.

Xbox One's exclusives are still the halo, gears, forzas, crackdown, state of decay... all already known before and weren't enough to bring in more player. How's x1x gonna make a big difference? If a developer invests a huge amount (plus manpower and time) to make AAA game for 4K, it's unlikely they will go x1x exclusive, unless MS themselves makes the game (or pay a huge huge amount to cover the loss of sale over the bigger ps4 market). Maybe MS does have first party exclusive in development but not ready to show yet? Afterall, AAA development takes time, and not everyone is like Kojima, before making any bit of a new game, quickly go make a CGI trailer that shows absolutely nothing about the game, but die die must show reveal trailer when the game is 0.0001% done. So hopefully MS got something in the future (that doesn't suffer the fate of Scalebound).

Can't help feeling their press conf is a big disappointment. Was expecting more when their boss said this E3 is all about games and 90 min is not enough.

to me i hate Sony's E3. they announce games that are way off the year. liked announcing games that are planned for 2018 in 2016. and chances are some of those games wont even make it in 2018 :s13:

maybe this E3 will be all about PSVR :s22:

Because Windows 10 DRM games suck? I played Rise of the Tomb Raider (windows 10 store version) with a GTX1080 at 4k60fps during launch vs PS4 Pro 4k30fps and surprising the experience is better on the PS4 Pro.

Microsoft shld have listed their first party games on Steam instead.

There are serious limitations when it comes to making use of your graphics hardware. Some graphics settings also can’t be changed:

"No SLI or CrossFire: If you have multiple NVIDIA or AMD graphics cards using SLI or CrossFire, the Windows Store version won’t be good for you. It doesn’t support SLI or CrossFire, although the Steam version does.

VSync is Always On: VSync is designed to eliminate screen tearing, but it can have downsides–like adding input lag, or decreasing game performance. If you have the Steam version, you can choose whether or not you want to use VSync. On the Windows Store version, it’s always enabled.

Always Borderless Fullscreen Mode: The Store version will always run in “borderless fullscreen” mode, also known as “fullscreen (windowed)” mode. This ensures Alt+Tab will work properly and the game won’t take over your entire display. However, it means the game can’t have exclusive access to your graphics card, so you can’t get the best possible performance. The Steam version gives you the option of using exclusive fullscreen mode."

that will really depend on your current PC specs. can it push 4k and do you have a 4k monitor.

Xbox One X is built ground up for 4k ready. way cheaper to play 4k games on X1X (wut?) than buying a PC that can do 4k. Netflix 4k needs Kaby Lake CPU at least.

remember their vision is a unified platform. their games are built on DirectX so no surprise the best version can be found on PC. but it's not going to be cheap.

There aren't 22 exclusives, in fact I don't think there is any scorpio exclusive, all the launch titles will also be on the PC, don't see any reason to get the scorpio unless one is gaming on a tight budget.

It wasn't luck, XBONE failed because it was overpriced and it had zero interesting exclusives.

itz not about the number of games, they simply use Sony PS4 launch smoke bombs of indies to make up the numbers...all about "games"

actually 6 teraflops should be good enough for a few years.

GTX1070 = 6.5 Teraflops
GTX1080 = 9 Teraflops

the bottleneck is going to go to the CPU. remember the architecture is still dated back to 2013 or earlier.

yup if budget is a concern, X1X will be the answer easily.
non of the exclusive is interesting to me other than The Last Night which is also on PC and I don't see how that game can't run on a PS3.
