[Advice] Recommendation for AMD Gaming PC

Looking to get a AMD Gaming PC. Not looking to overclock. Can play Sims 4 in 1080p, Youtube, Surf Web, Use Photoshop.

Only need the CPU and does not need monitor, keyboard or mouse.

Budget 1.5k and will up if needed. Would prefer the motherboard to have decent audio quality. Asus?

Lazada has a few 1050Ti going for.. eh.. so-so (high but not insane) prices. Can get one in the meantime, to wait out the current shortage, and then upgrade later if needed.

The board supports onboard but not ryzen cpu....

Why do you need a DVD ROM

Need a DVD player to install softwares.

Lazada has a few 1050Ti going for.. eh.. so-so (high but not insane) prices. Can get one in the meantime, to wait out the current shortage, and then upgrade later if needed.

Not really keen on 1050. Will wait for stock to arrive if Pc Themes or other stores Oos.

If you're an audio enthusiast, please get a sound card.

The on board audio sound card is only good to a certain point for normal usage only. Don't think it's good enough for audio enthusiast at all

The on board audio sound card is only good to a certain point for normal usage only. Don't think it's good enough for audio enthusiast at all

Agreed, if you are just doing light gaming, or even some light music editing, however, if you really need a sound card i would recommend going for an external one.

Good enough for normal users. Can always add a soundcard if u dont like the sound.

For normal average user for normal everyday usage onboard dac good enough. If you have an expensive headphones or speakers then it is recommended to get an external dac amp combo to bring the most out of your audio setup.

If you are using <$200 headphones or speakers then the onboard dac is good enough most of the time you might not be able to hear a difference with dac or not.

Focus on getting a good headphone or speakers before thinking about investing on a good external dac amp setup.
