Nope not threaded.

Think case fans are also not threaded. At least from the one I have seen so far.

yeah..i have 2 coolermaster 12cm fan used since the AMD opteron time and want to reuse them. but see no threaded hole, end up using some wire to secure it.

in this case, maybe i will go find some thin nut to hole the screw

thanks

Not sure if you know or I misinterpreted, but case fan all don't have thread iirc. The screws are self-tapping screws, so they are meant to cut into the plastic frame of the fan while you screw them in on the chassis.

Sent from PM me if you wanna build a DIY PC or wanna learn how to make one yourself :D using GAGT
think some fans come with rubber corners.
my Fractal Design HP-12 comes with those.. can never screw in tight completely

fractal_design_venturi_hp_12_120mm_radiator_static_pressure_cooling_fan2.jpg

but compared to plastics, the rubber is easier to screw in.

When i used these 2 fans previously, it was in my CM 5 casing, and it came with threaded holes just nice for the fan. The node 202 holes also fit just nice for the fan, but minus the thread. This is my first itx and it has been a while since i get a pc so i am not sure whether this is the norm or not.

i think i will just find some way to secure them. thanks for the info-s

I have the same case, how do u fit a HDD inside? It only have space for 2.5". I tried putting it next to gpu but I can't screw it in place. Was thinking of changing my case to a core v1
