macOS High Sierra update will be available too all Macs running on Sierra.

Backup before updating!!
For users running Flash Storage, you'll be bumped up to a new file system called APFS. While Apple has applied magic and bring onboard billions of iOS devices overnight to the new file system. You should still take precautions by making back ups.

How to get the update
App Store!

New features can be found here

A bit irritated that the software update has to be manually searched in the App Store instead of thru the “check for software update” option.

Downloaded & installed, but time for work.

Gonna do my first clean install. Starting fresh cos my MacBook has about 20GB storage left and I bet most of it is junk.

Now waiting for my time machine backup to be done. The preparing process takes foreverrrr :/

Going to do it after work.
No file inside my mac, except the parallel file for window OS. All my stuff inside NAS.

Will be doing fresh installation!

My time machine backup has been set automatic. I guess installation should be a breeze?

Just updated it ytd night immediately when it released, took quite a while to complete installation though.

Btw, anyone using Chrome on Mac OS?

Does your HWZ show the "highlight box" when you hover over a thread?

Weird, handoff doesn't work from my Mac anymore.

It does work from iOS (I can see Instant Hotspot, cut/copy from iPad and paste on Mac) but no longer the other way round.

EDIT:
Signed out and in again. Works now

i also scared to update since I got bootcamp and both parallel installed.

I don’t have the installer and cd key to install my bootcamp already. Every file on my com is precious now .

Any bro with bootcamp and parallel updated to HS let me know please

If on bootcamp (Windows 10), will the upgrade be safe to do so?

I just updated my Macbook Book Pro to the new OS. Installation is smooth but took longer than most previous major updates Apple released in their own desktop and laptop lineup. This is definitely due to the new file system that Apple has adopted.

Whether we will see improved stability or performance is anyone's guess, but I feel that it is a good under-the-hood update.

I havent had time to delve deep into the new OS, let us know if you notice improved performance in daily usage.

Installed mine too and total from start to finish took 40+ mins. So far so good.
