Does it fix the fast battery draining issue? That’s the main issue plaguing my phone now.

Honestly I’ve never encountered any battery drain issues after any iOS updates. I’ve always wonder where all the complains are coming from. But then again I don’t consider myself a “heavy” and “power” user who turns on every option available on the phone.

And small bugs like the fact that safari doesn’t pan view as you type in a text box like what I am doing now replying in the HWZ mobile site is still there. This has been the case since when iOS 10 was new. IMO apple is falling way behind in their QC comparing to last time.

Then you’re just lucky not to go through it. This update definitely hurts the battery. Multiple sources have also reported that it’s a widespread issue.

no one knows what's changed :s13:

As noted by Ars Technica, iOS 11.0.1 appears to fix an Exchange e-mail server bug that prevented many users from sending email from Outlook, Office 365, and Exchange Server email accounts. In a support document covering the feature, Apple now says customers can fix the issue by updating to iOS 11.0.1.

updated. UI animation improved. but that 3D Touch stutter is still there. everything else works ok on my 6s...

Yes. 3D Touch stutter and the home screen freezing is still present. I’m getting scared that Apple might just overlook these issues. Some minor bugs from iOS 10 went unfixed too before iOS 11 was revealed.

If it's intentional, I really don't know the indication of putting it in control centre lor..

If they wanna activate Bluetooth or WiFi in the background, they can still do it even if the settings are set to off..

:D

That would be even more deceiving though. Off should be off. If it’s still active when the setting is turned off, I think it’ll cause even more drama.

For me, when I want to disconnect from an unreliable wifi network outside I just press the disconnect from cc. :p

It's suppose to work this way liao, so that you are still connected. I think apple documented it?

I still prefer the previous one, off mean off, on mean on. :s13:

after this change it's less of a hassle to do AirDrop. I kinda like it...

Yes I did. It only happens when I 3D Touch a folder, select the very folder immediately and 3D Touch one of the apps inside. It will just wiggle and when I go back to the home screen I can’t select apps and swipe left or right. Control Centre and notification Centre swipes do work.

It’s unlikely that anyone would do the above mentioned sequence but to know that it’s present is quite irritating.

That would be my last option. If only folders can be created in those display iPhone units lol.

My iPhone 7 Plus, 128GB model seemed to have smoother animations now. This, of course, does not work for all and YMMV.

Anybody noticed charging seems a bit slower now? Actually on 11.0 felt slow already.
