you're going during a peak period where it's their halloween special. so lucky still got express pass sia. and if you reallly go there for harry potter, i would suggest you get the express pass. in the afternoon. then morning try to dash for the timed entry. and just come out of harry potter world to enjoy the halloween theme. it will only be transformed when night falls.

Will I still be able to get a timed entry if I choose to run, cuz the express pass already has a time (i.e. 2pm). Any idea if the tickets (express/standard) are linked/separate?

For me I went on a Super peak day. I can pre select the timing I want before I make payment.

I went to the HP entrance early but still had to wait until my selected timing then can enter.

The rest of the rides no need select timing to use Express pass. Just q at Express pass lane can liao

When you buy the express pass, they will give you time slots to enter HP world. and a time for you to take the forbidden journey ride. so maybe like 9am is the time for you to enter, 910 to 930 you are supposed to go take your ride. if you miss the timing, you queue normal queue. then once you're in, you can stay as long as you want.

in the event there's overcrowding, priority is given to those with timed entry in the HP world. the rest need to queue just to enter into the area.

i didnt buy from JTB locally. i bought directly on USJ website. the time is stated on your ticket one. When i bought from USJ website directly, they gave me a list of timeslots still available to choose from.

Usually what i'll do is to plan my USJ route according to the timed entry. it's either you chiong for the first few slots, or the last few. experience tells me that once you're in there, you will take quite long (esp if you're HP fan). and if you take a middle slot, you might not have enough time to explore the rest of the areas within the park.

You have to use the Japanese site to purchase, the english site won't allow that. I've seen instructions online on how to purchase the tics from the Japanese site. Because you need to create an account which you need to input your name in Japanese & to have a japanese address.

It is easy to use. There is English website teaches u how to use usj website to buy. If it is too complicated, Can use Klook to buy.

My dates wasn’t available on Klook so I buy direct.

That page you must disable google translate or it won't work. Other pages still can use google translate.

But the time range is quite huge, eg 10.00 - 15.30. What is that so? Not a fix timing? Does that mean i can go anytime btw that?

I assume you're trying to book the Express 4 pass?

huge timing gap because it's timed entry to HP world + the HP ride + minion ride.

10am - entry into HPW, 1010am to 1030am - HP ride then subsequently it's 3pm to 3.30 for minion ride.

Something along this line one. this 2 is the most popular, so they have to time it. the rest like amazing spiderman it's own time own target.

AMEX might have. visa/mastercard should be fine. I booked using the OCBC 365 card. All is good.

If there is no more express pass on Klook, will they refund us the amount or we need to find another day to enter? Bought on Klook on 15 Nov, no confirmation yet. Hope can hear from them today.

Edit: Got my confirmation already. HP world entry is 3pm. Minion ride is 10am. Looks very spread out..
