anyone knows where can I view M10 Pro demo unit?

went to 313 just now, actually the pro is not on display... have to ask the salesperson. i think he's using it for himself or something? idk, but if I hadn't asked for it, it would have been a wasted trip.

the pro is definitely more pleasing to the eye. it's not as heavy as i thought (coming from Xperia z5). feels premium, definitely. i asked the guy and he said pre-order may only start next month. maybe they want to get the non-pro version a head start first.

Damn. Was there to cup a feel on the mate 10 pro but it's just the plastic display. Asked the guy he say dont have. Next month only..#sian #faceproblem

The water entered my Mate 9 via the ear phone jack and killed the mother board. So no ear phone jack is a good thing.

Don't think it would have mattered if the water entered via the charging port, mate 9 not water resistant. Even if water resistant, also not waterproof.

No ports better, just need wait for huawei to implement wireless charging.

Mate 10 too, only Mate 10 plus is water resistance.

Ya i went there too trying to view it but the ** salesman (the one with beard and moustache) hog it for a good 10min or so then i don't want to waste time just walk off.

Can't believe got these kind of salesman, ownself like so much until like his liddat. Maybe the management can take note.

I would rather get the Mate 10. Audio jack and expandable memory is more like an Android phone. Don't understand why Android OEM keeps removing features like a fruit phone.. please stop it..

iirc huawei always try to follow apple. even their UI is almost identical.

but moving forward, i think all future phone will eliminate 3.5mm jack. everyone have to face this eventually. might as well give it a try now and get used to it

Yes, just like the 1.44 floppy disk made obsolete by Apple. In future, the phone could be fully sealed and water-proof i.e. wireless charging, Bluetooth connections, cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic technology etc.

All press statements so far have indicated that the gold variants will not be coming here - at least at the start. For what it's worth, when I was at 313 yesterday using the mocha Pro, like its blue dummy on display, the colours are not strong - certainly not as defined as on the advertising materials. The mocha is almost like a 'dark gold'.

I went to test the mate 10, yes the home button navi gestures is available, it also has a virtual button that can do some navi gestures but not as smooth as the hardware home button so makes the m10 front home button much faster than any screen nav buttons

The set feels warm but I'm guessing it's not using the right charger on the phone.

However, I forgot to test the mobile data plan if it can reset based on the date we set. To those that haven't used HW phones, do note there is no way to reset mobile data plan based on ur Telco reset date. Anyone going to test pls check if this feature has been fixed but HW

I don't feel any lag on the demo set but the charging seems to be very slow. When I am playing around with it, the battery is at 40% already. No idea what charger they are using. It feels slightly warm on the back. The finger print scanner acts as a home button. The response is very fast.
