I read the article and saw the screenshot of the wonder woman movie. That notch is hideous.

Jokes aside, screens on iPhones have always sucked, whether OLED or not. Plus the resolution is so gay it's not even worth the comparison.
Not to mention the phone looks gay as hell.
Yeah. At an angle look like normal iPhone colours.
It has been bothering me....
Not sure if I should bring down to Apple store tomorrow to compare to the demo sets.

Actually I am only worried that my replacement is also like that.
Then Apple might think that I am exploiting their policy etc.

Think too much no use. This phone over 1.6K, better have a peace of mind.
My iphone x is very hot... even when restoring data from icloud... downloading apps. After apps download. Then just surfing safari, messaging... and it doesnt cool off easily. Not that kind of warm but it is hot. When updating the software, they say that cannot install now due to icloud not complete restore. So when i check icloud i got a very weird error message which neither i nor google have seen it before.
Anyone can advise if your iphone x is very hot to touch? I have not put any cover on it.

My phone is very cool except when charging it gets abit warm. Restoring no issue
Mine only slight warm when I was restoring.

Only missing the larger keyboard that’s on the Plus model and the 16:9 screen ratio.
Forgot to mention one more work flow that is largely improved from a Touch ID - now you can swipe on any incoming notification and go straight to the app without needing to put your finger on Touch ID again because Face ID is already unlocked. 
Just upgraded to iPhone X from iPhone 7plus....
Likes:
- edge to edge display is immersive
- Form factor is super for screen size trade off
- Face ID works very very well, I like especially the hidden previews until you are looking at the phone
- Swipe Gestures for home button replacement is sleek and smooth, and in most cases would be faster than having to lift your finger to go home button and lift to go back to screen function
- Front and Back cameras are very good upgrades
- Can unlock phone when my hands are wet especially after exercising!
Dislikes:
- OLED blue casts at angles and more obvious in horizontal (can't imagine the more inferior screens in Android phones)
- Apps not optimized yet - that's why a lot of people are saying the iphone X screen is "smaller" than 7plus - because of black letter boxing
- miss touch ID in some cases, like when phone is flat on table
- Glass backing looks good, but slippery, so must put case, so no more nice looking.
- OS still a bit buggy - was on a speaker phone call this morning, could not swipe home to access other apps - no physical button to press to overwrite.
Btw, I found a situation where Face ID would always fail, much like wet hands situation in Touch ID. I was buying Tori Q and standing next to the glass display where they kept the meat warm, and I think the Infra Red heating elements affects FaceID. I had to pull the phone a lot closer to the face to work.

If one pays so much for a phone, he/she just have to say Face ID is good, even if it’s accessibility isn’t that good unless u look head on.

Disappointed with the screen. Quality is amoled but feels lcd. And overall felt smaller than my iPhone 8+.
Maybe I will wait for apps to be optimized further then judge.

If Apple add an option (or 3rd Party) adds an option to control vividity, that’s gonna be a winner.Urm... ok.

Current amoled colour looks like lcd.
Have you gotten the phone? It does not require you to look head on
AMOLED is way too saturated. Definately not like iPhone LCDs
