After giving True Tone Display 2 full days of usage, am I the only one who feels like it does not work as advertised to, on an iPhone X? I know that it works well on the iPad Pro however my phone seems to be stuck on a very warm tint no matter how cool the environment gets. When switched off, the phone's display has no issue/blue tint or anything. Seems like others on r/Apple are facing this issue too..

So is it the same as ours? =:p

Yah. Hahaha. I switched off both night shift and true tone. My screen is white on front and side angle. And when switch on night it will dim a litle bit. And switch off both night and true tone screen will be yellowish

The disparity of true tone and OLED display on iPhone X users .. makes me think there are different panels around. Some say it works great, some say very yellow .. some say looks like LCD

This video for example highlights my exact issue. Seems to me that Apple just slapped the True Tone feature from the LCD devices without calibrating it for the iPhone X hence the over warmth..

Hoping to see it fixed.

Finger print sensor even worse? She can wait till you sleep can unlock your phone without you knowing.

Finger print sensor I alway aware such loop-hole.

I though apple this time round can come out with a more secure face id that must unlock with eye open. But still come out with a option to off the attention aware. So still a bit disappointed :(
