Logitech Harmony is a good option if you DIY everything.....
I do have the Harmony universal remote as well, but because all command have to go through the logitech cloud than communicate with my insteon cloud before the action is executed so there is some time lag.....
If you use the remote purely for equipment control, it quite responsive..... But if you create an activity to switch on the TV and change your lighting scene, you will still achieve the end result, but lag.

neutral wiring, there's a way to do it without having to rewire whole house.
