I am a newbie.

1. My room have a table fan https://www.kdk.sg/a40as.html no remote type, manual buttons. How to set it turn off on at certain time?

2. Normal hdb bedroom ceiling light wall on/off switch how to set it turn off on at certain time?

3. Tv plug power switch on/off how to set it turn off on at certain time?

4. If all the above cannot set time to turn off/on, how to use app to turn off/on if I am not at home?

Thanks

just use an intelligent power plug
TP-link sells them. Other companies too.

The ceiling light is a little tricky. Tp-link also sells light switches but you need an electrician to pull a neutral wire to it.

Alternately, you could play with intelligent bulbs that are managed via your phone. But for them to work, your wall switch must always be in the on position.

They don't need to know anything about home automation. Just tell them to pull a neutral wire to all ur light switches as well. Standard practice is to only have live wires. So when they do ur reno, just tell them you want also a neutral wire at each light switch point too.

The tp link intelligent power plug (TP-Link HS100 Wi-Fi Smart Plug) is it each electronic device plug need to buy 1 plug $48.90? Is it my fan plug into 1 tp link plug, my TV plug into 1 tp link plug?

If my fan and TV is nearby, can I plug the fan and TV into a 3 way adaptor, then plug the 3 way adaptor into 1 tp link plug? (so buy 1 tp link plug enough)

Ceiling light "wall switch must always be in the on position", if the intelligent bulb light is switch off via phone app, is it still using electricity?

Ceiling light seems tricky maybe skip first.

Thanks.

Hello yes, u can use the multi adapter for ur tv and fan, and den on one tplink plug. But u on tplink... Assuming ur manual fan button is on a fan speed.. Fan will auto on... But tv is jus giving electricity to standby mode... U still need to remote turn on tv power (assuming u r using normal tv and not the 1970s manual buttons one :s13:)

The wall switch keep on is lik standby power.. U use app off bulb is as gd as consider off switch alrdy. I dun tink will hav any increase in electricity usage, even hav the amt is negligible...
