Any solution to solve? After update to android 7.0 encounter this issue

Dunno. I can't be really bothered since i don't blast my mic much, which means the speaker came like that lol and since i hardly turn up my speaker so i never noticed it all along else would have went for warranty le. The mic is the only thing suck in an otherwise great phone (besides having not enough storage).

We're stuck at 1 March 2017, vulnerable to KRACK, etc.

Going to try to flash Australia ROM next week (MAYBE).

You can try Khongloi S8 Nougat ROM. I find it to be pretty good, snappy and stable.

Personally, I prefer custom ROM to stock ROM. But because of the Root/Status, banking apps won't work.
Even with MagiskHide or Root Cloak.

Damn those banks.

Samsung Singapore sucks. Even though they don't update firmware, they should keep the security update flowing for a longer time.

Eh don't make me happy leh lolol. But since it's a leak we know it's less likely to happen, especially when we've receive 2 major updates already.

But if Samsung is losing customers, this is one way they can keep them.

Android security patch level: 1 November 2017.
Blueborne and Krack scanner tell it's not vulnerable.
Phone more responsive, no longer have network (mobile or WiFI) issues.
No VoLTE & no Samsung Pay though.
Unsure why, Samsung Pay kept saying cannot connect to the server.
Lazy to factory reset again.

It wouldn't work..Cause Samsung Pay is tied down to the region's software. Much like the VoLTE settings as well.

I have a few Samsung phones, and got flash other region firmwares and also custom firmwares.

Papua New Guinea (N920I) got new firmware. CQK3.
Going to test this in a few days time.
So far happy with N920G firmware except for VoLTE & Samsung Pay.

You can flash all you want, know that once you go out of Singapore's product code (CSC) there is no way to come back to singapore XSP/SIN/MM1/STH product codes without visiting Samsung Service center. (So effectively no more Samsung Pay, VoLTE)

UNLESS you preserve your CSC but seeing how it is broken for you then I doubt it is preserved.

India now have new firmware to include December security updates.

Singapore is forgotten. Forcing people to upgrade the phone instead of the firmware.

I've been using this phone for 2 years and the battery life started to depreciate. Do you have any recommended shops to replace it? I called a shop and they quoted $80.

Don't bother replacing the battery. Better buy a new phone.

It will come to us eventually. Usually, we skip a few updates instead of every month one. Every time updating can also be a headache as the process of approving SW for different region greatly differs and SG has one of the most requirements to pass before approval.

Also, I'm sure you can recall everytime people complain their device slow or perform worst after update cause the system has to reindex and/or convert or create some data/cache to a newer format.

Lastly, as long as you don't expose your device to malicious sources/programs/application or networks half of the battle against security is won.
