Hi OCBC,

[1] For BCIP, can the investment on the same counter be made from both deposit account and SRS account at the same time? Example, for a monthly $1000 investment on STI ETF, $300 deduct from SRS account and $700 deduct from deposit account.

[2] If this can be done, for commission computation purposes, will this be considered as 1 or 2 transactions?

Hi, I have called and emailed OCBC to waive off my late payment charges because I was away and unable to pay my bills. However OCBC rejected my appeals... so is time to invest my money in other banks.

Hi there,

You will be able to choose to use either cash or SRS, but not both at the same time.

Hi Ginnylim07,

We are sorry to learn that your waiver request was unsuccessful. Generally, the bank will allow for one late fee waiver in 12 rolling months. Should this not be your first request in the past 12 months, we apologise but we will not be able to accede to your waiver request.

For the same BCIP account and investment on the same STI ETF counter, I can choose to pay from either deposit or SRS account on different months?

But even cancelling the card still liable for the charges. And I don't understand why they are so inflexible despite investing so much with them.

Then take ur money n leave.

I wont blink an eye leaving such a bank.

They more interested in other biz than servicing local customers.

huh? are the charges for the annual fee?
there should not be any charges for late payment of annual fee if you had requested it upon receiving the statement.

anyway, just pay and leave for good. there are other cards out there with immediate cashback and no annual fee. see if can earn back the late charges with the new card.

Hi there,

You will be able to make amendments to the debiting account. The cut off time will be by 12pm on the last business day of each month, and the change will be effected in the following month.

used to own this card before. u need to set a trigger amount (min. $100) and as long as it doesn't hit $1k, then it will automatically be divided into 3-mth instalment. i've used it to buy many things in the past including airflight tickets and no issues. cancelled because of their ridiculous $10k min. spending per year to get waiver

Hey there!

If your insurance premium is already broken up into monthly payments, the monthly payments may not be split further when charged to your Cashflo card.

To OCBC team,

I like to acknowledge that you guys, at least in traditional banking services, are way much better than DBS/POSB.
- case officer follow up on queries.
- can get most services done via internet banking and emails at my own time.
- branch staffs know their job, at least for the issues I have.

can't get these kind of quality services in dbs and posb anymore. please continue to provide these good services, especially do not remove the email service in internet banking.

thus far, one thing I dislike about ocbc is the insurance hard selling.
